CASTELL DE SANT ISCLE(VIDRERES)

It was first documented in 1194. It belonged to the Cabrera viscounts. It was occupied during the war of Remences (the peasants against the feudal pressure) in the 15th century. The main room is rectangular (28x20 mts). Each angle is strengthened by a round tower. The wall is well preserved and is more than 10 mts high, with two towers (one at each side). There is a graveyard around the castle. By the rampart, there are the remainders of Sant Iscle and Santa Victoria Romanesque chapel.
