Sant Feliu-Tossa-Llagostera

It’s a long circular route across Ardenya-Cadiretes protected area, getting through Sant Feliu- Tossa- Llagostera. After crossing Ardenya massif and Puig de Cadiretes, we’ll be at Tossa beach. We’ll take Peregrí path to get to Llagostera. This is a lovely path, ideal for cycling.
We’ll leave Sant Feliu and get to the ridge by Divina Pastora path. Once there, we’ll continue by the northern slope (Sant Benet, can Codolar, can Cabanyes); we’ll cross Sant Grau road to arrive at Pla de les Pinyaques, at the feet of Cadiretes peak, 200m from where we stand.
From this plain, we’ll go down, always following GR sign posts, not paying attention to other paths at both sides. We’ll arrive at the Mare de Déu de Gràcia hermitage. We’ll leave the GR and keep on going down by a local signposted path that will lead us to Tossa stream and sportive zone.
Once we are in Tossa, we must gather strength to climb to the Vila Vella and enjoy the wonderful panoramic views from up there.
2 km from Tossa, we’ll take Llagostera road. Near Sant Eloi tourist resort, we’ll find Peregrí path. This charming path, with milestones to Camí de Terra Negra, will lead us to this important col where 4 towns meet (Llagostera, Tossa, Caldes and Vidreres).
The path goes parallel to the road to Can Noguera mas, from where we’ll arrive to Llagostera on the road and take there the green way.
It is approximately a 60-kms route long, with nearly 1000m grade, ideal for cycle touring through Ardenya.
