Ardenya from the sea

:
Maximum duration:

One of the typical trips in summer is to go from Sant Feliu to Tossa de Mar, crossing the Ardenya and coming back by sea with the boat trips.
We’ll go up the part of the massif that is closer to the sea and arrive at Cadiretes peak. From there, we’ll begin the long descent to Tossa.
We’ll make the most of our visit and we’ll cycle to the walled old town by a cycling path besides the beach that goes to the lighthouse.
The return by sea is very grateful and pleasing. The contemplation of the whole Ardenya from the sea is a great discovery, as well as to gaze at some of the spots where we cycled early in the morning (Can Codolar, Sant Grau, Puig S’Agoita…). From the sea, it is instructive to look at the coves and spots on the coast (Sa Futadera, Vallpresona, Canyerets, Contrabandista cave, Cala Urgell, etc.) that have been included in other routes.
We highly recommend this itinerary that can be done either cycling or walking. It gives us the chance to know the territory, walk on it and look at it later from the sea. Although the urban planning of some coves is sometimes nonsense, the Ardenya landscape, going down to the sea, is really a beautiful image.
The boat trip service operates from June to September. You must check the boat trip timetables because they can be changed every season, but they are usually at noon and early in the afternoon.
